Scott MacDonald - Where Travellers Go
Scott is a singer/songwriter from Glasgow and plays acoustic guitar / harmonica. His main influences are Neil Young, Martin Stephenson, John Martyn and Mike Scott. He grew up in Glasgow and first became addicted to music when he saw The Clash at the Apollo. After a year in Australia busking and playing pubs he supported :- Seasick Steve, Bert Jansch, Martin Stephenson, Eddi Reader, and lots others. WHERE TRAVELLERS GO’ was recorded and produced by Frankie Gibbon at Wild Trax studios County Durham the same studio used by Martin Stephenson for the brilliant 'Lillac Tree' album. Guest musicians include Frankie Gibbon on Bass, percussion and hammond organ. Jim Hornsby on Dobro, Telecaster and Acoustic and the track ‘I belong” has Matt Harvey on Fiddle and Leo McCann on Button Box Accordian. The track ‘I Belong ” was used by the BBC for the show ‘Monty Halls Great Escape
